Our Story
Paul and Michelle met on June 18th 2021 thanks to modern technology and a mutual love for coffee. After both swiping yes! on Bumble, they decided to meet for a quick hello.
Within an hour the two discovered they grew up only miles apart in Vista, California attending different elementary schools only one grade apart. They had been on a collision course to meet at Lincoln Middle School but Paul moved to Washington in fifth grade delaying that meeting by thirty years (to which middle-school Paul breaths a sign of relief). Michelle’s mom Vivian and Paul’s dad Ralph even worked at the same health clinic in Vista, for the same boss, but at different times. These serendipitous connections lead them to believe it was meant to be.
Numerous dates progressed in quick succession. Paul discovered Michelle was passionate about love and relationships and absolutely devoted to her sweet little girl, Charlotte. Michelle discovered there was something grounding and kind about Paul and that he just "felt like home." He was quiet but sweet and kind, and not like most LA guys (to which Michelle breaths a sign relief). Paul had never dated a single mom and with impeccable eloquence once told Michelle "Wow, you are like a whole complete person!"
Over the months, the rocket scientist and diamond entrepreneur fell deeper in love. Six months in, around Christmas, it was time for Paul to meet Charlotte. Charlotte's first words to Paul were "You live in this big house all by yourself?" It was perfect. Paul met his "say it like it is" match.
A new and beautiful feeling overcame the three of them and this cute, quirky little family felt just right. Love grew stronger with every passing day and a forever together became increasingly obvious. Paul proposed to Michelle privately on the beach in December 2022 and it was the easiest yes of her life. Charlotte is so excited for this new family and cannot wait for “our wedding.”
